The sun drifts into view…I lazily fill myself with light…still coughing and sputtering…trembling just slightly…after a week my cold still hasn't abated itself…Golden Kobi lies sleeping at Ron's feet…dipping down lightly into heaven sent oblivion…Little Guy Oscar at our heads completely turned into an upside down pretsle…we're all lazy this morning after a long few days of moving…my feet ache but my heart sings.
Kobi and Oscar arrived at our new home Sunday…I had never seen Kobi more tentative..sitting down in the doorway to the bedroom…cocking his head left then right…not quite understanding all the changes…Oscar went into high gear motion running from room to room without hesitation…the difference between a 9 year old and a 9 month old…then they discovered the yard…expansive with trail after trail to explore…an English garden reminiscent of a labrynth…the boys ran and ran darting from tree to tree. Kobi laid on his back twisting and turning, filling his fur with his new home's earthy essence…Oscar just kept running and smelling, marking then running again…a joy filled delight to witness the boys and their all consuming pleasure in nature…I wonder would my cold have lessened more easily had I rolled in the grass and marked all the trees? Quite possibly I muse…
